He thought it would make a nice addition to my room and I agree. I used to have a garden at my school that I took care of. I guess it's the school's garden, but you know what I mean.

It's my second hobby after cooking.

That's a good question. It would be hard. If you leave it up on the deck then you're subject to the storms and weather at sea, and salt water isn't really good for plants, and below deck you don't have sunlight. Not many plants can grow without any at all.

You'd probably need something like a greenhouse, with a way to protect from the elements.

I don't really know anything about greenhouses, so I probably can't be much help in that area. I just had a regular garden before.
