I don't understand, so I'm asking. If it was your favourite colour maybe your whole uniform would be that colour. But black is a spectrum colour like white, so it isn't an actual colour. That's why I'm asking.

It does look good. my favourite part is your mask, it's very thematic and you've put a lot of thought into your costume to be functional and specific.

It's a flower that represents triumph, mainly over disease, but triumph against deadly odds all the same. I remember my mother having them, even recently. I chose a blue spectrum for that reason.
